Massachusetts Public Schools To Ask 12 Year Olds If They've Had Anal Or Oral Sex

weaselzippers
You tax dollars at work.
Power of Suggestion?
What could possibly go wrong?
Across Massachusetts – and across America – thousands of schoolchildren are given sexually graphic, psychologically intrusive surveys by the public schools without parents’ knowledge. These surveys also ask youth to reveal their criminal activity, personal family matters, and other intimate issues.
This is done in the public middle schools and high schools during school hours. At best, parents are told about the surveys in vague terms, but are rarely allowed read them beforehand. The surveys are “officially” anonymous and voluntary. But they are administered by the teacher in a classroom and (according to teachers we’ve talked to) there is often pressure for all kids to participate.
The major survey given to kids across America is the “Youth Risk Behavior Survey” put together every two years by the national Centers for Disease Control and handed off to state and local education departments (which they can modify). And there are many similar surveys administered in various districts.

Wisc Gov Scott Walker Signs Bill Weakening Academic Tenure

Academic Tenure was intended to foster Academic Independence. Instead it has devolved in the most lock step, brazen, in your face conformity of politically correct indoctrination imaginable.

http://www.campusreform.org

How else can you explain University Medical Depts not only getting away with, but billing the U.S.Treasury for pathologizing 1st Amendment violators as Incurably Sick in the Mystic?

Any pretense of utility Tenure ever had, it demolished all on its own decades ago.

“Maybe it’s time for faculty and staff to start thinking about teaching more classes and doing more work.” – Gov. Walker
Via Politico

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s trailblazing effort to weaken tenure protections at public colleges and universities is now a reality with his signing of a $73 billion budget on Sunday.
The effort has outraged unions and higher education groups, leaving them fearful that other lawmakers will follow suit to unravel labor protections in higher education that have long been considered sacred ground.
Walker downplayed the changes at Sunday’s signing at a valve manufacturing facility in Waukesha, Wisconsin, emphasizing instead that tuition was being frozen in the University of Wisconsin system for another two years at the rate it was two years ago.
“We made college more affordable for college students and working families all across the state,” Walker said.[…]
Wisconsin’s system is rare in that tenure protections had been written into state law. Tenure policy is typically determined by an institution or a state board.
Nationally, about 51 percent of public institutions had a tenure system in the 2013 school year. That’s down from 59 percent a decade earlier, according to federal data.
Walker has said while discussing his proposal that “maybe it’s time for faculty and staff to start thinking about teaching more classes and doing more work.” And Walker has defended his plan by noting he has a child enrolled in the University of Wisconsin, so he has a vested interest in ensuring his plan works well.
Thank You Politico, Dapandico, and Gov Walker.

Awesome: Judge Rules Teacher Tenure Rules Are Unconstitutional

Never thought we'd live to see this day.
weaselzippers;
Awesome: Judge Rules Teacher Tenure Rules Are Unconstitutional

The two main things holding our education system back are unions and tenure, with any luck we’re down to just unions (unfortunately they aren’t going away any time soon).

[Ed; did somebody say Unions?]

Via NRO:
A judge in Los Angeles ruled Tuesday that public school teacher tenure rules are unconstitutional, a stunning reversal that could pave the way for broad changes to public education monopolies all over the country.
In a case brought by nine students in the Los Angeles Unified School District, L.A. County Superior Court Judge Rolf M. Treu ruled that “both students and teachers are unfairly, unnecessarily, and for no legally cognizable reason (let alone a compelling one), disadvantaged by the current Permanent Employment Statute.”
The case, Vergara v. California, argued that by blocking the firing of bad teachers, tenure denied L.A. students their constitutional right to a quality education. The suit was organized by the Silicon Valley reform group Students Matter on behalf of 10th grader Beatriz Vergara and eight other students. The defendants included Governor Jerry Brown, Superintendent of Public Education Tom Torlakson, and the behemoth teacher unions California Teachers Association (CTA) and the California Federation of Teachers (CFT). The defendants tried three times to dismiss the suit.

If this ruling is upheld and grows legs, just think of what it will mean to the 'Mental Health' Industry.

'Mental Health' is Academia on a tear. One Theory after another, and with Tenure being the law of the land, no matter What crock they cook up to sell brain damage, Violations of all Manner of laws, a near Complete reversal of the Civil Rights movement's struggles, . . . America has to just keep paying them.

Make them Produce a Cure (which they can't) or Fire them.
