ISIS steals human organs from its own members Nineveh province of Iraq according to Al-Sumaria News.

The report stated, “A medical unit belonging to ISIS stole human organs, including kidneys and other organs, from 85 militants in Nineveh hospitals, and transferred them to another hospital on the outskirt of the city.”

“The group lost the majority of its funds, especially crude oil that provided 80% of the total income to the terrorist group, so it started to trade in human organs to revive its finances,” the Al-Sumaria report explained.

“Dozens of human organs were stolen from civilians and bodies that were transferred to the forensic medicine department, and then transferred through mediators to Syria then to human organ traders,” Al-Sumaria added.

Syrian Refugee Demands All Signs In Europe Be Written In Arabic

 Syrian migrant teen has demanded that all signs and products in Europe should be labelled in Arabic to make migrants feel more welcome.

Aras Bacho moved to Germany from Syria five years ago and while only 18 has become a regular columnist in migrant issues across German media.

“Of course everything in Europe should be in Arabic for refugees,” Bacho wrote in the German edition of The Huffington Post. Claiming that he finds it “sad” that many migrants can live in a country like Germany for years, or even decades, without ever learning German, he says that integration is difficult due to the language barrier.

“I, as a refugee, think that inscriptions on street signs in Europe should be translated into Arabic. Equally,  food packaging should be in Arabic. It should also be possible to take tests in Arabic,” he wrote.

According to Bacho, if everything were in Arabic then migrants who have passed their driving licence would find it easier to drive in Germany, they would “understand the law more quickly”, and be able to enter the labour market if Germans spoke and wrote Arabic, rather than German.

Syrian Refugee With 4 Wives and 23 Children Claims Almost $400,000 A Year In German Welfare Benefits

A SYRIAN refugee with four wives and 23 children has sparked outrage after it was claimed he was receiving a staggering £320,000 a year in benefits.

The migrant, known only as Ghazia A, fled Syria last year along with his family.

He has since resettled in Germany with his four wives and 22 of his children. One of his daughters has since moved to Saudi Arabia where she has married.

The family could be receiving more than £320,000 a year in benefits according to a financial manager on the Employers’ Association website.

There is no official confirmation on this figure.

Under Islamic tradition, the 49-year-old can have up to four wives – as long as he can support them financially.

Germany does not legally recognise polygamy, meaning that Ghazia A was forced to choose a “main wife” so the rest of the family could claim benefits. The other three wives are categorised as “friends” of the Syrian migrant.

But a local official in the town of Montabaur described the situation as an “exemption”.

Ghazia A now lives with his “main” wife Twasif and their five children in Montabaur, in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate – while the other three wives and children have been moved into neighbouring communities up to 31 miles away.

The man used to work in a garage and car hire service in his homeland but has not worked since resettling in Germany.

He expressed an interest in working again but noted his commitments to his family made this difficult.

He told German newspaper Bild: “In our religion it is my duty to visit every family and to be with them.”

Palestinian Children Draw Pictures of Jews Drinking Blood

Fatah has posted several children’s drawings on Facebook. The drawings clearly show the success of PA and Fatah brainwashing children to believe that Israel only seeks to harm them, violence is good and that all of Israel really is “Palestine.”

Labeling the drawings “innocent drawings” that “express the feelings of children of #Palestine,” Fatah posted the drawing above showing Israel, as indicated by a Star of David, eating a Palestinian body wrapped in the Palestinian flag. Blood is seen coming from the body, and a glass of blood is next to the plate.

Another drawing by a Palestinian child showed a crucified woman wearing the colors of the Palestinian flag, with her body in the shape of the PA map of “Palestine” that presents all of Israel as “Palestine” together with the PA areas. The crucifixion also repeats the analogy that Palestinians are Martyr victims like Jesus.

Yet other drawings showed support for violence as legitimate means of Palestinian opposition to Israel. One child drew a Palestinian with a slingshot, another drew a hand with a rifle. These drawings echo the PA and Fatah’s encouragement of the use of violence against Israel and their glorification of terrorists as heroes. Palestinian Media Watch documented that summer camps organized by the PA Ministry of Education and the PLO educated children to see terrorist stabbers as role models.

Last night, the David Horowitz Freedom Center brought its Stop the Jew Hatred on Campus poster campaign to San Francisco State University, a campus that is notorious for its glorification of anti-Israel terrorism and anti-Semitism. 

San Francisco State University (SFSU) has repeatedly enabled the most extreme actions of its General Union of Palestinian Students (GUPS), a group closely resembling Students for Justice in Palestine, once led by SJP founder Hatem Bazian. This past April, GUPS disrupted a speech by the Mayor of Jerusalem, Nir Barkat, by shouting exhortations to terrorist violence and succeeded in curtailing his address. The demonstrators shouted “Intifada,” a call for terrorism against Israel, and chanted “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!” a call for the obliteration of the Jewish state. The former president of GUPS wrote dozens of social media posts threatening violence to pro-Israel students, Israelis, the IDF and others. He also praised Hamas and the violent Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).

GUPS holds annual Israeli Apartheid Weeks which demonize Israel as an apartheid state and commemorate the founding of Israel as “al-Nakba” or “the catastrophe.” The faculty advisor for GUPS, Prof. Rabab Abdulhadi, met with terrorists Leila Khaled and Sheikh Raed Salah during a university-funded trip to the Middle East. (Khaled is a convicted hijacker and a member of the terrorist organization, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and Sheikh Raed Salah has been repeatedly jailed on charges of incitement to terrorist violence.) When questioned about the trip, San Francisco State administrators denied that Abdulhadi’s trip was an improper use of university funds. Abdulhadi also helped to broker a formal collaboration between SFSU and An-Najah National University in Palestine, which is known for its recruitment of students as cadre for Hamas and as suicide bombers.

The Freedom Center’s poster operation plastered the campus with posters identifying the organization Students for Justice in Palestine as a campus front for Hamas terrorists and the Hamas intermediary American Muslims for Palestine (AMP). AMP was revealed in recent congressional testimony to be funneling terrorist dollars to Students for Justice in Palestine to support the Hamas-sponsored, anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign in America.

One of the posters depicts SFSU Professor Rabab Abdulhadi, the faculty advisor for the General Union of Palestinian Students (GUPS), an SJP clone. Text on the poster describes Abdulhadi as “A leader of the Hamas BDS Campaign” and a “Collaborator with Terrorists.”

A second poster depicts a gun-toting Hamas terrorist holding the strings of a puppet labeled “American Muslims for Palestine” which in turn controls a marionette labeled “Students for Justice in Palestine.” Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) is described as “The chief sponsor of anti-Israel and anti-Jewish activities on campus.” Hamas is identified as “A terror organization pledged to wipe out Israel” (a goal explicitly stated in the Hamas charter) while AMP is the “Hamas-created chief organizer and funder of SJP.” The poster also depicts shadowed bodies lying in pools of blood, illustrating the bloody deeds of Hamas’s campaign of terror against the Jews. The poster contains the hashtag #JewHatred and the Freedom Center’s website, www.HorowitzFreedomCenter.org.

A third poster created by the Freedom Center asks sardonically, “Do you want to show your support for Hamas terrorists whose stated goal is the elimination of the Jewish people and the Jewish state?” and answers the question with “Join us! Students for Justice in Palestine.” The poster then lists the names of student and faculty leaders on campus who promote the genocidal Boycott Divest and Sanctions movement against Israel. 
 
The posters are part of a larger Freedom Center campaign titled Stop the Jew Hatred on Campus which seeks to confront the agents of campus anti-Semitism and expose the financial and organizational relationship between the terror group Hamas and Hamas support groups such as Students for Justice in Palestine. As part of the campaign, the Freedom Center has placed posters on several campuses including San Diego State University, the University of California-Irvine and the University of California-Los Angeles. The campaign also recently released a report on the “Top Ten Schools Supporting Terrorists” which may be found on the campaign website, www.StoptheJewHatredonCampus.org. San Francisco State University is among the campuses listed in the Top Ten report. The section of the report demonstrating SFSU’s support of anti-Israel terrorists follows below.

April 12, 2016: SFSU hosted a tour created by National SJP called “Right 2 Education,” featuring two speakers from Birzeit University in Palestine.  Birzeit is well known for hosting Hamas rallies and Hamas recently beat out rival party Fatah in student elections there. During the event, the student speakers defended terrorism claiming that acts such as knife attacks on unarmed civilians were merely efforts to “bring attention” to the alleged plight of Palestinians. The speakers praised the genocidal BDS campaign against Israel, and attempted to delegitimize the Israeli state by falsely claiming that Jews “fabricate our history to make it look like they have a right to exist in our country” and that “Israel was built to be a racist state.”

April 06, 2016: The SFSU General Union of Palestinian Students (GUPS) disrupted a speech by the Mayor of Jerusalem, Nir Barkat, by shouting exhortations to terrorist violence and succeeded in curtailing his address. SFSU students involved in the protest entered the auditorium carrying Palestinian flags and wearing checkered kaffiyehs which are associated with anti-Israel terrorism. The demonstrators then proceeded to shout “Intifada,” and chanted “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!” a slogan falsely claiming that Israel is Palestine (Israel is bounded by the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea) and should be destroyed.

When SFSU President Wong called for an investigation into the protestors who shut down Barkat’s speech, GUPS responded by calling Wong’s request an “attack on pro-Palestine protestors” that “criminalize[s] anti-racist speech on campus.”

Hammad was exposed as having written a number of threatening social media posts describing his wish to attack students, teachers and Israeli soldiers and to ally himself with anti-Israel terrorists including the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). Hammad’s posts include: A photo of himself holding a large knife with the caption: “I seriously cannot get over how much I love this blade. It is the sharpest thing I own and cuts through everything like butter and just holding it makes me want to stab an Israeli soldier…” “I think about killing a lot.  And some of you are usually the targets of my daydreams J.” “You know what?  Israelis ARE colonizers, there is literally no way around it. And you know what else?  My heroes have always killed colonizers. I literally see nothing wrong with this. And my only regret is that not all colonizers were killed.”

In response to a poster that asked “how can I help actively support Palestine,” Hammad responded “Buy a keffieyh. Learn to tie it around your head…get in touch with some PFLP militants or arms dealers in the West Bank. Learn IDF patrol routes…BOOM.” “Let’s play a game. Objective: Kill U.S. Soldiers. Goal: world peace.” “The number of times I have legitimately considered flying back to the Middle East and joining the armed wing of the PFLP or something is surprisingly high.” “I think about the time I tried to be - moderate - and advocate for non-violence and honestly I just want to go back in time and slit my own throat/and then the throats of all my enemies before they grow up into the shits they are today.” “Oh/And tomorrow is [hopefully] the day that I find out if I will be the President of the General Union of Palestine at my school/...Hopefully I'll be able to radicalize half of our population and bring them back with me as fighters.”

After Jewish groups and the media exposed his postings, Hammad eventually left campus and was placed under investigation by the Joint Terrorism Task Force and the FBI.

The same phrase, referring to the Hamas assertion that Jews have colonized Arab Palestine and must be exterminated, is also written on a sign at a display table during the “Edward Said Mural Celebration.” Said was a Columbia professor who was a member of the Palestinian Liberation Organization’s Palestinian National Council until 1991 when he resigned because he thought the terrorist Yasser Arafat’s policies were too moderate towards Israel.

ISIS Stones Woman To Death "For Adultery" After She Refuses To Marry Jihadist

Islamic State (ISIS) extremists executed an Iraqi woman on Friday after accusing her of “committing adultery.” Local sources reported that the woman was killed in Mosul city, in Iraq’s northwestern Nineveh Governorate.

The 32-year-old woman was stoned to death by militants in Mosul’s Darkazliya neighbourhood.

“The ISIS-led Sharia court said in a statement that the woman was charged with adultery, without providing further information,” media activist Abdullah al-Malla told ARA News in Mosul.

“ISIS jihadists demanded the people of Mosul watch the brutal execution, and forced dozens to participate in stoning her along with the group’s militants,” al-Malla reported.

Informed sources in Mosul told ARA News that the woman was, in reality, sentenced to death for refusing to marry an ISIS militant.

“The adultery accusation was completely baseless. This woman was executed for escaping her family’s house after an ISIS jihadist asked for her hand in marriage and her father agreed,” Raafat al-Zarari, head of the Nineveh Media Centre, told ARA News. “She preferred death

(ARA News) – Extremists of the Islamic State (ISIS) have burned six civilians to death in the city of Mosul in Iraq’s northwestern Nineveh Governorate, after accusing them of ‘spying’, activists and eyewitnesses reported on Thursday.

The ISIS-led Islamic Police, also known as al-Hisba, arrested six young men in Mosul earlier on Tuesday. The ISIS leadership then accused them of leaking security information about the group’s movements in Mosul to the Kurdish Peshmerga army and US-led coalition.

The Sharia Court of Mosul said in a statement that after “interrogations” the suspects “confessed to have been cooperating with the Peshmerga and the crusader coalition” against the so-called Caliphate.

“The Sharia Court called for the most brutal punishment for those six young men. ISIS militants burned them to death in public on Thursday evening,” local media activist Abdullah al-Malla told ARA News.

The victims were charged with treason, according to the source.

“Hundreds of people witnessed the execution. Also, the victims’ families were forced to watch their sons being burned to death,” an eyewitness told ARA News, speaking on condition of anonymity.

Embattled Hillary Clinton enforcer Huma Abedin gave foreign leaders and activists special access to Clinton when she was secretary of state after they donated to the congenitally corrupt Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation, according to newly released emails.

It is yet more evidence that in the event Hillary becomes president her administration will be at least as venal and crooked as her husband Bill’s was. Bill sold nights in the Lincoln bedroom at the White House while he was president but Hillary has been selling her presidential favors in advance for years through the tax-exempt Clinton Foundation, which is little more than an anticipatory bribe processing center. With Hillary installed in the Oval Office, the sky’s the limit.

The trove of newly released emails obtained by watchdog group Judicial Watch through the courts appear to show that Abedin served as a gatekeeper auctioning access to the would-be president in exchange for donations to the Clinton Foundation. When individuals wanted to meet with Hillary, Abedin would say no, and introduce them to the foundation. After the so-called donation was received access to Clinton would be approved.

Judicial Watch stated Monday that:

"In more than a dozen email exchanges, Abedin provided expedited, direct access to Clinton for donors who had contributed from $25,000 to $10 million to the Clinton Foundation. In many instances, Clinton Foundation top executive Doug Band, who worked with the Foundation throughout Hillary Clinton’s tenure at State, coordinated closely with Abedin. In Abedin’s June deposition to Judicial Watch, she conceded that part of her job at the State Department was taking care of 'Clinton family affairs.”

“Among the Abedin-Band emails is an exchange revealing that when Crown Prince Salman of Bahrain requested a meeting with Secretary of State Clinton, he was forced to go through the Clinton Foundation for an appointment,” Judicial Watchreveals. “Abedin advised Band that when she went through 'normal channels' at State, Clinton declined to meet. After Band intervened, however, the meeting was set up within forty-eight hours."

The Clinton Foundation’s website indicates that in 2005 Salman committed to creating something called the Crown Prince's International Scholarship Program (CPISP) for the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), a project of the foundation.

By 2010, Salman’s organization had given $32 million to CGI. The Kingdom of Bahrain reportedly donated somewhere between $50,000 and $100,000 to the foundation. Bahrain Petroleum also contributed an extra $25,000 to $50,000.

There is also an email thread from 2009 in which Band asked Abedin to get the State Department to expedite visas for members of the Wolverhampton (UK) Football Club. One of the members it seems had a “criminal charge” that had thrown a wrench into the visa issuance process.

Band was inquiring on behalf of Hollywood mogul Casey Wasserman, president of the Wasserman Foundation. Wasserman’s philanthropy kicked in between $5 million and $10 million to the Clinton Foundation.

Abedin arranged nearly immediate access to her boss after Slimfast tycoon S. Daniel Abraham coughed up between $5 million and $10 million to the Clinton Foundation.

Other Clinton Foundation donors got meetings with Mrs. Clinton after Abedin shook them down for gifts to the foundation.

Clinton confidant Kevin O’Keefe, a Clinton campaign “Hillblazer” who has raised over $100,000 for her candidacy, coughed up between $10,000 and $25,000.

St. Louis political operative Joyce Aboussie asked to set up a meeting between Peabody Energy executive Cartan Sumnar and Clinton. Abedin replied, “We are working on it and I hope we can make something work… we have to work through the beauracracy [sic] here.” Aboussie gave the foundation between $100,000 and $250,000.

Mobile communications executive and political activist Jill Iscol asked Clinton to sit down with Jacqueline Novogratz. The Clinton Foundation took in between $500,000 and $1 million from Iscol and her husband. Secretary Clinton then named Novogratz to the State Department’s Foreign Affairs Policy Board.

A memo sent to Clinton’s chief of staff at State, Cheryl Mills, by State Department White House liaison Laura Pena indicated that Rajiv Fernando had been suggested for appointment to the sensitive International Security Advisory Board in mid-2009. The appointment, which came through in 2011, was controversial because Fernando “had no obvious experience in the field,” ABC News reported. Fernando gave the Clinton Foundation $1 million.

“These new emails confirm that Hillary Clinton abused her office by selling favors to Clinton Foundation donors,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “There needs to be a serious, independent investigation to determine whether Clinton and others broke the law.”

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton’s status as a feminist icon may be in jeopardy after it was reported that Abedin, her likely White House chief of staff should she beat Donald Trump, worked for more than a decade at a Saudi-funded Islamofascist periodical that condemned Clinton’s actions as first lady, praised Muslims’ brutal subjugation of women, and blamed the U.S. for the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The longtime Clinton aide’s disturbing Islamist background has been examined at length previously by FrontPage but only recently has the mainstream media taken any kind of interest in it. Abedin’s dangerous links to international terrorism take on a heightened importance now that odds-makers favor the former secretary of state to win the presidential election on Nov. 8.

Abedin is joined at the hip to Hillary. She is closer to Mrs. Clinton than Valerie Jarrett is to President Obama. She has been called a second daughter to the Clintons. Abedin is now a vice chairman of Clinton’s campaign after working for her in the White House, her U.S. Senate office, the Clinton Foundation, and at the Department of State. And like Clinton she is married to a serial philanderer – former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) – who humiliates her and treats her like dirt.

What is new here is that Paul Sperry, author of Infiltration: How Muslim Spies and Subversives have Penetrated Washington, has unearthed articles from Abedin’s tenure at the Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs that savage the feminism and women’s rights that Hillary claims to believe in. Andrew C. McCarthy has said that journal seeks "to grow an unassimilated, aggressive population of Islamic supremacists who will gradually but dramatically alter the character of the West."

From 1996 to 2008, Abedin was employed as assistant editor at the Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs. Her brother, Hassan Abedin is one of two associate editors listed on the masthead, and sister, Heba Abedin Khalid is one of two assistant editors at the publication.

Abedin’s mother, the editor-in-chief, wrote in the journal in 2002 that America got what it deserved on 9/11.

“The spiral of violence having continued unabated worldwide, and widely seen to be allowed to continue, was building up intense anger and hostility within the pressure cooker that was kept on a vigorous flame while the lid was weighted down with various kinds of injustices and sanctions . . . It was a time bomb that had to explode and explode it did on September 11, changing in its wake the life and times of the very community and the people it aimed to serve.”

The family matriarch edited a 1999 book that justifies the barbaric custom of female genital mutilation under Islamic law, claiming that “man-made laws have in fact enslaved women.”

Sperry writes in the New York Post that Clinton brags on her campaign website about her enthusiastic support for the UN women’s conference in Beijing in 1995, at which she famously declared, “Women’s rights are human rights.” That speech is at the heart of Clinton’s political identity. It was even highlighted in a Morgan Freeman-narrated video shown at last month’s Democratic National Convention minutes before Clinton took the stage to accept her party’s nomination for president.

Although Clinton recently called the Beijing conference a “historic and transformational” event, the following year Abedin’s publication attacked Clinton’s feminism.

An article titled “Women’s Rights Are Islamic Rights,” argues that single mothers, working mothers, and gay couples with children don’t count as families.

“A conjugal family established through a marriage contract between a man and a woman, and extended through procreation is the only definition of family a Muslim can accept,” the article stated. It blames women who wear revealing clothes for being raped and claims that “[p]ushing [mothers] out into the open labor market is a clear demonstration of a lack of respect of womanhood and motherhood.”

Sperry continues, writing:

In a separate January 1996 article, Abedin’s mother — who was the Muslim World League’s delegate to the UN conference — wrote that Clinton and other speakers were advancing a ‘very aggressive and radically feminist’ agenda that was un-Islamic and wrong because it focused on empowering women.

“‘Empowerment’ of women does more harm than benefit the cause of women or their relations with men,” [Huma’s mother] Saleha Mahmood Abedin maintained, while forcefully arguing in favor of Islamic laws that have been roundly criticized for oppressing women.

’By placing women in the ‘care and protection’ of men and by making women responsible for those under her charge,’ she argued, ‘Islamic values generate a sense of compassion in human and family relations.’

’Among all systems of belief, Islam goes the farthest in restoring equality across gender,’ she claimed. ’Acknowledging the very central role women play in procreation, child-raising and homemaking, Islam places the economic responsibility of supporting the family primarily on the male members.’

She seemed to rationalize domestic abuse as a result of ‘the stress and frustrations that men encounter in their daily lives.’ While denouncing such violence, she didn’t think it did much good to punish men for it.

The elder Abedin opposed the effort in Beijing to expand the definition of the family to encompass “gay and lesbian ‘families.’ ”

Huma seems fine with her mother’s views. “My mother was traveling around the world to these international women’s conferences talking about women’s empowerment, and it was normal,” Huma told Vogue.

The journal’s advisory board is filled with academic advocates for Islamofascism and useful idiots.

Ali S. Asani of Harvard University whines that “[f]or too long, Islam has been taught in the western academy through discourses that primarily represent the religion as a religion of empire and power.” John I. Esposito and John O. Voll of Georgetown University co-wrote a Huffington Post article titled, “In the Middle East, Islamists Are Not the Enemies of Democracy.”

Predictably, the Clinton campaign says move on, there’s nothing to see here.

Abedin was just a figurehead at the journal, according to the Clinton campaign, a flat-out lie that doesn’t even make sense. Afigurehead is supposed to be at the top of an organization, something Abedin clearly was not.

“My understanding is that her name was simply listed on the masthead in that period,” Clinton mouthpiece Nick Merrill said after Sperry’s article was published. “She did not play a role in editing at the publication.”

Maybe it was a “no show” job like on The Sopranos.

If Hillary Clinton wins, count on Huma Abedin springing out of bed in the morning every day to show up for work to continue the fundamental transformation of the country set in motion by Barack Hussein Obama.

The following anecdotes of Muslim persecution of Christians around the world occurred or were reported in April. They are categorized by theme, or familiar patterns:

Muslim Attacks on Christian Churches

United States: A pro-ISIS group calling itself the United Cyber Caliphate defaced the website of the Christian Reformed Church in the city of Lamont, Michigan. A 15-year-old teenage girl discovered the website’s defacement—which consisted of a YouTube ISIS propaganda video and Arabic text—while searching for the church’s phone number. The video’s spokesman says, “We will conquer your Rome, break your crosses and enslave your women by the permission of Allah, the Exalted. This is His promise to us, He is glorified and He does not fail in His promise.”

Ethiopia: Rioting Muslims accusing Christians of converting Muslims rampaged throughout the East Shewa Zone. They burned down 14 churches—belonging to Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestant denominations—and left more than 2,000 Christians without worship venues. One church cemetery was also vandalized. A church leader said: “We have been worshipping outside and sitting on the bare ground bearing the hot sun. We appeal to our brothers elsewhere to come and assist us. The attackers poured petrol and were chanting ‘Allahu Akbar’ [Allah is greater] before setting the church building on fire.” Ethiopia’s population is 60 percent Christian and 34 percent Muslim.

Uganda: Around midnight on April 12, an angry Muslim mob demolished a Christian church. They were heard chanting: “We cannot live together with neighbors who are infidels. We have to fight for the cause of Allah.” The church’s 450 members were left without shelter during the rainy season. Musical instruments, more than 500 plastic chairs and other property were also destroyed. Two days earlier, a group of Muslims shouting “Allah only is to be worshipped, and Muhammad is his prophet” slaughtered a church leader’s pigs, a key source of income. He had previously received a text saying, “Let this be known to your church members that pigs are extremely unholy and an abomination before Allah, very outrageous and shameful. They are haram [forbidden] and unlawful as our holy Quran does prohibit them.” Muslims also sent a text message to a church member– “We are soon coming for the heads of your pigs” – before killing eight of his swine.

Iraq: The Islamic State blew up Mosul's iconic Clock Church, famed for its soaring clock tower, with explosives. According to the Assyrian International News Agency, "Militants cordoned off areas surrounding the church and looted the building for profitable artifacts and antiquities before destroying the remaining parts with explosives.... The Clock Church ... became a target of ISIS attacks last year, when its cross was removed." Although Mosul was once home to about 45 churches, most have either been destroyed or converted into courts or jailhouses since the Islamic State took over in June 2014.

Indonesia: An Islamist group vandalized a new church in Bekasi and demanded that the local mayor cancel its permit. The Santa Clara Church had received its permit in July 2015 and opened this year on March 7. The Islamic Forum Community and other Muslim leaders accused church leaders of acquiring the permit through false means. The mayor of Bekasi denied the allegation and refused to annul the church's permit. He said it had fulfilled all the legal requirements necessary for construction. "Despite this," explained the Asian Human Rights Commission, "law enforcement agencies have failed to protect the Santa Clara Church congregants; in fact, it seems the agencies have no will or policy to enforce the law against vigilantes. As a result, the church congregation lives under pressure and intimidation." The rights group further called upon the local police to "take a strong stance" against the Islamic Forum Community and "ensure that the government guarantees protection to the Santa Clara congregation to practice their religion."

Algeria: "Churches in Algeria are facing intimidation and harassment, despite constitutional provisions guaranteeing freedom of worship in the country," noted World Watch Monitor on April 29. That week, authorities claimed that a church in the Kabylie region was ordered to cease all religious activities on the grounds that it was violating a 2006 law that regulated non-Muslim worship. Authorities threatened to commence legal proceedings against the church if Christian worship continued there. Last February, authorities issued a notice to the church in the town of Aït Djima, also in Kabylie, citing the same law. Critics say the 2006 law, which is aimed at regulating all religious worship except Islamic worship, is used as a tool of persecution by the authorities. According to Rev. Haddad, pastor of a Protestant church in the city of Algiers: "It is an unjust law against Christians, who were denied their right to worship and the opportunity to share the Gospel freely.... the situation of Christians in Algeria will not improve until the outright law, which is no longer justified, is repealed."

Turkey: Six churches were seized by the government in April. After ten months of conflict in the nation's southeast, the government expropriated huge sections of property in the region's largest city, Diyarbakir. "But to the dismay of the city's handful of Christian congregations," notes a World Watch Monitor report, "this includes all its Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant churches. Unlike the state-funded mosques, Turkey's ancient church buildings – some of which pre-date Islam – have been managed, historically, by church foundations. The new decision has effectively made the Diyarbakir churches – one 1,700 years old, another built only in 2003 – state property of Turkey, an Islamic country of 75 million." Few Christian houses of worship remain in Turkey's southeast. Although it is the ancestral homeland of Syrians and Armenians, well over a million of these ethnic Christians were massacred and sent on death marches during the final years of the Ottoman Empire at the beginning of the 20th century.

Palestinian Territories: In Gaza City, authorities demolished a recently discovered, 1,800-year-old Christian church and its treasured artifacts, despite attempts by Palestinian Christians to save them. Protests failed to win the attention of the international community, including United Nations agencies such as UNESCO, whose mission is to secure the world's cultural and natural heritage. The ancient church was found in an area where Hamas is planning to build a shopping mall. "The dramatic discovery of the antiquities did not seem to leave an impression on the construction workers, who removed artifacts and continued with their work at the site... Bulldozers were used to destroy some of the church artifacts -- a devastation that drew sharp criticism from Palestinian Christians, some of whom rushed to accuse both Hamas and the Palestinian Authority (PA) of copying ISIS tactics in demolishing historic sites," notes the report. "For Palestinian Christians, the destruction of the church... ruins is yet a further attempt by Palestinian Muslim leaders to efface both Christian history and signs of any Christian presence in the Palestinian territories."

Muslim Slaughter of Christians

Nigeria: Muslim Fulani herdsmen slaughtered approximately 40 people in a Christian majority village and burned Christ Holy Church International to the ground. Ten homes were razed by arson, cars and motorcycles were destroyed, and animals randomly killed. From his hospital bed a survivor said, "I was coming out from the house when I heard the community bell ringing. I was going with a friend to know what the bell was all about, only to see about 40 Fulani herdsmen armed with sophisticated guns and machetes. They pursued us, killed my friend and shot at me several times but missed. They caught up with me and used machetes on me until I lost consciousness."

Pakistan: After a Christian man warned local Muslim drug dealers to "stop recruiting young Christians to participate in the sale and consumption of drugs," two men assaulted him while he was working in the field and "sliced open his throat." According to local pastor Alfred Azam, "This is not the first incident of persecution of Christians in our village, local Muslims are always creating problems for our Christian community. Before and after our church services Muslim drug dealers swarm around our church trying to sell drugs to our vulnerable youth..." Azam explained that drug pushers regularly beat young Christians and force them to take drugs to try to get them addicted. "When our older men tell these criminals to leave our young people alone they get killed." As usual, police officials "refused to register a report for the crime or take any action whatsoever."

Separately, Muslims lynched a Christian, 18-year-old Qaisar Masih, on the accusation that he was romantically involved with a Muslim girl. He was "killed by the girl's family in an attack led by her father, Mohammad Billa." They had warned Qaisar not to have anything to do with her and threatened to kill him. According to Qaisar's sister, he was hanged after being killed to make it look like suicide: "My brother was innocent, he tried not to contact Mehwish [the Muslim girl] but Mehwish said that she cannot live without him... We told her sisters to ask Mehwish to avoid my brother because her father is a criminal and he will kill my brother. But none of our efforts could save my brother." Qaisar's mother, Rani Sardar, said: "We all know who killed my son, he was the youngest, he was the apple of my eye and they killed him brutally and hanged him in front of our house. I only demand justice."

Syria: ISIS militants slaughtered 21 Christian hostages, three of whom were women, in al-Qaryatain. This was discovered after the town was retaken by Russian-backed Syrian forces in April. Some were reportedly killed for violating the terms of their "dhimmi contract," Islam's discriminatory body of rules that govern Christian minorities and others. Another five missing Christians were believed to be dead, while many girls are believed to have been sold into sex slavery.

Muslim Attacks on Christian Freedom

(No Apostasy, Blasphemy, or Proselytization)

Uganda: A Muslim man beat and threatened to butcher his wife because of her commitment to Christ. The 38-year-old woman had fled to another village with their four children after he first beat her a year ago upon discovery of her conversion. "My husband shouted, 'Allah Akbar,' then he took a blunt object and hit me on my left hand. I cried for help, and neighbors arrived and saved my life. I then slept at a neighbor's house with my four children that very night." Last April she went back to visit her estranged husband to discuss child support. It wasn't long before the man began again to harass the woman again her faith: "Again I answered him that Jesus is my Lord and Savior, and he took a panga [machete 16 to 18 inches long], but I managed to get hold of him before he could hit me, so the panga dropped, and he started strangling me. His younger brother woke up and rescued me. I then managed to escape." The Muslim man was unrepentant before the judge. "I cannot live with the kafir [infidel] in my house, unless she returns back to my religion. If not, I will not stop hunting for her life, because our Holy Koran allows us to kill any apostate from Islam."

Kenya: After a Muslim man named Godana converted to Christianity, his life changed for the worse. His troubles began last October, when his wife was hospitalized and treated for an unspecified but deadly illness for three weeks with no signs of recovery. "Soon thereafter," notes the Morningstar News, "they received a visit from an Evangelist with the Evangelical Christian Church of Africa (ECCA), who prayed for her. His wife was not completely healed, but she was able to go about most of her daily activities, and a week later the couple invited the Evangelist and two other church leaders to their home. The couple decided to become followers of Jesus after talking and giving thanks with the church leaders, and they began meeting at their home for Bible study and prayer." Soon Muslim neighbors informed Godana's relatives that the couple had left Islam for Christianity. The same report continues, "Godana's in-laws began sending him threatening texts: 'You had a Muslim marriage, so it is against Islam to change your faith,' one read. 'If you continue in the Christian faith, we shall come and take our daughter.' Then, in February, Godana's in-laws took his wife. A few weeks later, they came and seized his young children as well. Continues the report:

His own family members are now threatening him. “Your life is at stake if you still hold on to the Christian faith,” one relative told him. Godana has become depressed under a continuing barrage of text messages from his in-laws, including demands for payment for medical follow-up care, he said. One text read, “We have continued treating our daughter, and now we demand that you pay us the money that we have used for her treatment.” “I am spending sleepless nights as the pressure from my wife’s family is being directed toward me,” he said. “I am also fearing for my life.”



Turkey: An American Christian evangelist was detained and later released by authorities—but only on order that he leave and never return. Declaring David Byle “a danger to public order,” authorities in Turkey took him into custody on April 6 after asking him to report to the immigration office in Istanbul regarding his application for a residency permit. There was no indication of what the “danger to public order” accusation was based on. Those close to Byle, 46, describe him as being “mild-mannered, polite and calm” and believe that he was detained and ordered deported because of his evangelistic activities. He was released on April 14 and given a “no-reentry order.” The arrest took place days before Byle was set to teach a class to a group of Turks on how to tell people about the gospel.

Egypt: An Egyptian Christian, Bishoy Kameel Garas, was finally declared "innocent"— but not before serving more than half of his six-year sentence. Bishoy was jailed in September 2012 for his alleged defamation of Islam. The charges were all connected to a fake Facebook account in his name. Bishoy was imprisoned even though he had posted warnings on his own Facebook page regarding the false account and had alerted cyber police whose subsequent investigation supported his innocence. "The court was besieged by mobs demanding his punishment and even accusing his defense lawyers of blasphemy for defending him." Although innocent of the defamation charge, he lost his job as a teacher, which left his already impoverished father to pay for his legal fees; and although he spent more than three years of his life in prison, rights activists believe it is highly unlikely he will receive any reparations from the state.

Europe: Muslim migrants who thought they were now free to quit Islam and convert to Christianity continue to "fear murderous Islamic retaliation in Europe." According to a Breitbart report:

Many migrants who are recent converts to Christianity fear retaliation from Muslims and that converting may become a "death sentence." One of the more surprising aspects of the migrant crisis has been the number of Muslims from places like Syria and Afghanistan, that have been converting to Christianity in Austrian churches. The Archdioceses of the Austrian capital in Vienna can hardly keep up with the requests as they get five to ten per week. So far this year 83 percent of the recorded adult baptisms into the Catholic faith have been Muslims compared to 2015 when they were only 33 percent, reports Kurier. Muslims who convert and leave Islam face a very real potential for violence and even death. A migrant to Austria who now calls himself Christopher told the Kurier, "this could be my death sentence." Christopher came to Austria in 2012 and requested that his new Christian name be used because he fears not only reprisal against himself but his family as well.

Dhimmitude

(Contempt, Hostility, and Violence for "Infidels")

Eritrea: Hundreds of Christians are currently believed to be in Eritrean jails, while tens of thousands have fled the country. According to Christian Today, for more than a decade the regime has been persecuting Christians, who make up roughly half of the population. Many churches have been closed and many Christians have been tortured. Christians who fled from Eritrea and are currently housed in an Ethiopia-based refugee camp revealed some of their experiences:
Elsa fled after her sister was beaten to death by prison guards: "We were kept in underground cells. Sometimes the guards put us both in a metal shipping container to torture us. This became so hot during the day and then in the night it became freezing cold. We didn't get much to eat and there was no medical treatment. The guards offered to let us go, but only if we renounced our faith in Jesus. We said no." One night the guards took turns beating Elsa and her sister. Recalling that night, Elsa said, "I will never forget hearing the screams of my sister. I never saw her again."
According to a refugee named Dawit, "When I was living in Eritrea I was arrested because of my Christian faith. That's why I left. In Eritrea almost every Christian faces imprisonment." He spent more than a month in jail, and later in a hard labor camp. He was tortured and forced to sleep every night with his hands and feet lashed together behind his back.

"Dr. Berhane Asmelash, a former prisoner and victim of torture, described prisoners being tied up and hung from trees. One form of hanging is known as the ‘Jesus Christ,’ he said, because the victim looks as though they are on a crucifix."

Egypt: Another Christian child was kidnapped and later released for a staggering ransom. Anthonius Farag, 13, was abducted from his school on April 5, in the village of Mansheyyit Manbal. His kidnappers released a Muslim child after identifying his religion by his name, but kept the Christian boy. According to the parent of another Christian pupil who was also nearly kidnapped:

My son, Kyrellos, was standing with both fellow pupils Anthonius and Mohamed when one of the kidnappers approached them. [The kidnapper] inquired about their names. They let go of Mohamed, but [because of their Christian names] gripped hold of Kyrellos and Anthonius. My son managed to escape, while other boys started screaming. One of the kidnappers shot rounds in the air to disperse the crowd, as the others quickly pushed Anthonius into the car and fled.

Three days later, the kidnapped boy's father received a call demanding a ransom of two million Egyptian Pounds—more than $225,000 USD—in return for his son. The father, who received little help from police, eventually managed to get the kidnappers to drop the ransom to 300,000 Egyptian Pounds ($34,000 US)—still more than 300 times an agricultural worker's monthly wages. It was all that he, a farmer, could raise, taking up a collection from Christians who earned more. After he was released, Anthonius recalled his ordeal, which included beatings and being kept in a dark room blindfolded. This latest case is not isolated. According to records from the Upper Egyptian province of Qena alone, there have been at least 72 cases of kidnappings, extortion and related violence against Christians in the period from 2011 to 2014.

Separately, Dr. Yassir al-Burhami, Egypt's premier Salafi, was exposed in a video inciting hate for and violence against the nation's Christians. He also decried giving them their full human and civil rights: "When you cooperate with a criminal, aggressive, oppressive, infidel minority, you attack the rights of the majority [Muslims]."

Pakistan: Two Muslim men invaded the home of a Christian woman while her husband was away serving in the army. After beating her, they tied her arms and legs down to her bed and gang raped her while threatening to slaughter her 2-year-old infant daughter if she did not comply. According to the victim, 30-year-old Asia Mushtaq:

The men treated me like an animal, telling me I was a worthless Christian, but I know my God is a great God. When I screamed they told me that they knew my husband was away and that I was unprotected. They threatened to kill my child if I did not comply with their perverse demands. They said Christian women are all whores and they would come back and repeat their debauchery if I ever told anyone. I feel so unclean now, but have done nothing wrong. I want these men to be punished and hope the law will protect me.

Wilson Chowdhry, chairman of the British Pakistani Christian Association (BPCA), said of the incident:

Another woman finds herself a target of the whims of brutal Muslim rapists in Pakistan, in a society that targets its most vulnerable community: Christians. Furthermore, this time a soldier, whose only desire was to serve and protect his country, has found that the majority of his country do not feel the same way about him. Moreover, the army he serves has offered little or no protection despite threats being made against him and his family. It pains me to say this but the complex acts of betrayal leave me feeling that Christians have no place in Pakistan's theocratic society.

In a separate incident in April, five Christian girls were kidnapped, converted to Islam, and forced to marry their captors.

Sweden: Christians continue to be persecuted by Muslims in asylums. One Christian was threatened with "slaughter" -- having his throat cut -- by a self-proclaimed jihadi. According to the same report by Christian Today, "A Pakistani Christian couple moved into a church when the husband's name was sprayed on a wall near their room calling for his death. A separate group of asylum seekers were forced to leave their accommodation when their harassment escalated." Patriarch Ignatius Aphrem II, head of the Syriac Orthodox Church, called on Swedish authorities to get involved in the crisis. "This situation does not reflect the culture of the peaceful and loving Swedish people," he wrote, adding:

Christians do not live in refugee camps in the Middle East, because, there too, they are persecuted by Muslim extremists... To witness that they are once more being persecuted at Swedish asylum accommodations make[s] us very sad. We expect the Swedish Government and the concerned authorities to immediately make sure that these people are safe. A distinct asylum accommodation for Christians and other asylum seekers is essential. We appeal to you to set off such a place and give the word asylum back its true meaning of protection and safety.

In his response, the Director General of the Swedish Migration Board, Anders Danielsson, said that separate housing for Christians and other vulnerable groups "would go against principles and values that are central to Swedish society and our democracy. It would be considered a great failure having to resort to segregation as a measure."

Sudan: An Egyptian-born Christian monk serving in the African nation was kidnapped. Rev. Ghabrial al-Antony was working on his brother's farm in Sudan's Darfur region when three men appeared, tied up his brother, and abducted al-Antony. "We don't know who they are or why they kidnapped him."

About this Series

The persecution of Christians in the Islamic world has become endemic. Accordingly, “Muslim Persecution of Christians” was developed to collate some—by no means all—of the instances of persecution that surface each month. It serves two purposes:

1) To document that which the mainstream media does not: the habitual, if not chronic, persecution of Christians.

2) To show that such persecution is not “random,” but systematic and interrelated—that it is rooted in a worldview inspired by Islamic Sharia.

Accordingly, whatever the anecdote of persecution, it typically fits under a specific theme, including hatred for churches and other Christian symbols; apostasy, blasphemy, and proselytism laws that criminalize and sometimes punish with death those who “offend” Islam; sexual abuse of Christian women; forced conversions to Islam; theft and plunder in lieu of jizya (financial tribute expected from non-Muslims); overall expectations for Christians to behave like cowed dhimmis, or third-class, “tolerated” citizens; and simple violence and murder. Sometimes it is a combination thereof.

Because these accounts of persecution span different ethnicities, languages, and locales—from Morocco in the West, to Indonesia in the East—it should be clear that one thing alone binds them: Islam—whether the strict application of Islamic Sharia law, or the supremacist culture born of it.
