President Donald Trump approved earlier this week the sale of certain lethal weapons to Ukraine, a move that appears to refute the claim that the Trump campaign wanted to assist Russia by softening the GOP platform on Ukraine policy.

The authorization clears the way for the sale of about $41 million worth of sniper rifles and other light weapons systems, according to the Washington Post. Though it does not approve the sale of heavier weapons sought by Kiev, the export license will facilitate the largest single sale of U.S.-made weapons to Ukraine since hostilities erupted there in 2014.

Authorizing the weapons sales also punctures a narrative pushed by Trump critics during the campaign: Trump modified the Republican Party platform on arming Ukraine because of its alleged improper ties to the Russian government.

In the run-up to the 2016 GOP convention, a Republican delegate proposed an amendment to the party’s Ukraine policy platform that supported giving “lethal defensive weapons” to Ukraine. The amendment was put into the platform, but with language that replaced “lethal defense weapons” with “appropriate actions.”

Trump’s Democratic opponents, spurred on by breathless media reporting, seized on the change as evidence that Trump was inappropriately sympathetic to Russia. In the end, however, the official Republican position remained hawkish on Russia, and Trump has since pursued a far more punitive policy toward Moscow than his predecessor.

The Trump administration has wrestled for months over whether to green light weapons sales to Kiev to enhance the pro-NATO government’s capabilities against Russian-backed separatists in eastern Ukraine. While the option was generally supported by Trump’s top foreign policy advisers, including Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Special Envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker, administration officials also worried that approving the sales would hinder Trump’s ability to begin some kind of rapprochement with Russian President Vladmir Putin.

The State Department has emphasized that Trump’s order only approves, on a case-by-case basis, the commercial export of lethal weapons to Ukraine, not direct sales or transfers. Congress authorized such government sales in the 2014 Ukraine Freedom Support Act, but the Obama administration never exercised the option to do so.

“The United States Government has neither directly sold nor granted defensive weapons to Ukraine,” a State Department official told reporters on Wednesday. “We also haven’t ruled out the option of doing so, and at this point, we don’t have anything to announce.”

Congressional Republicans and some Democrats had been urging the Trump administration to boost military support for Ukraine as part of a larger effort to counter Russian military intervention and cyber meddling.

Sen. Bob Corker of Tennessee, the chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, cheered Trump’s approval of the export license, saying Wednesday that it “reflects our country’s longstanding commitment to Ukraine in the face of ongoing Russian aggression.”

President Donald Trump suggested “an immediate investigation” Friday into Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s ties to Russia, appearing to make light of ongoing investigations into possible contacts between Trump associates and Kremlin officials.

“We should start an immediate investigation into @SenSchumer and his ties to Russia and Putin,” Trump tweeted. “A total hypocrite!”

The post — which came via an iPhone, indicating that it came from a staffer rather than the president himself — included a 2003 Associated Press image of Schumer having coffee and Krispy Kreme doughnuts with Russian President Vladimir Putin in New York. According to the caption, Putin was visiting the first New York gas station of Lukoil, a Russian company.

Schumer fired back at Trump via Twitter, saying he would “happily talk” about his contact with Putin and the Russian leader’s associates. It “took place in ’03 in full view of press & public under oath,” he said. “Would you &your team?”

Russian President Vladimir Putin called allegations that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad attacked rebel forces with chemical weapons "ludicrous" Tuesday, and acknowledged that Moscow has provided some components of the S-300 air defense missile system to Syria, but has frozen further shipments.

In a interview with The Associated Press and Russia's state Channel 1 television, Putin suggested that Russia may sell the potent missile systems elsewhere if Western nations attack Syria without U.N. Security Council backing.

"From our viewpoint, it seems absolutely absurd that the armed forces, the regular armed forces, which are on the offensive today and in some areas have encircled the so-called rebels and are finishing them off, that in these conditions they would start using forbidden chemical weapons while realizing quite well that it could serve as a pretext for applying sanctions against them, including the use of force," Putin said regarding the allegations against Assad, a staunch ally of Russia.

President Obama couldn’t ask for a more awkward moment to be forced to travel to Russia and face President Vladimir Putin.

A top ally of Syrian leader Bashar Assad and the man that took in U.S. national security leaker Edward Snowden, Putin has spent the days leading up to the arrival late this week of Obama in St. Petersburg for the G20 summit of world leaders taunting Obama and ridiculing his call for Congress to approve a military strike in Syria.

Putin, in an interview published Wednesday morning, again questioned U.S. intelligence concluding that Assad is responsible for a chemical attack that killed more than 1,000 outside Damascus Aug. 21, saying it is seemed “completely ridiculous” and accusing the Obama administration of failing to provide sufficient proof.

MOSCOW, Aug 29 (Reuters) – Russia is sending two warships to the east Mediterranean, Interfax news agency said on Thursday, but Moscow denied this meant it was beefing up its naval force there as Western powers prepare for military action against Syria.

Interfax quoted a source in the armed forces’ general staff as saying Russia, Syria’s most powerful ally, was deploying a missile cruiser from the Black Sea Fleet and a large anti-submarine ship from the Northern Fleet in the “coming days”.

Any strengthening of the navy’s presence could fuel tension, especially as the United States has said it is repositioning naval forces in the Mediterranean following an alleged chemical weapons attack which it blames on Syrian government forces.

“The well-known situation now in the eastern Mediterranean required us to make some adjustments to the naval force,” the source said in a reference to the events in Syria.

It was not clear when the vessels would arrive but Interfax said the Moskva missile cruiser was currently in the North Atlantic and would set sail in the next few days.

Suspicion of President Obama only intensified after his decision to scuttle a summit meeting next week in Moscow and to describe Mr. Putin in unusually personal terms at a news conference, saying his body language often made him look “like the bored kid in the back of the classroom.”

Though Mr. Obama went on to say that their interactions were often constructive, the comment infuriated Mr. Putin, according to one Russian official not authorized to be quoted by name.

Putin in 2009 outlined his strategy for economic success. Alas, poor Obama did the opposite but nevertheless was re-elected. Bye, bye Miss American Pie. The Communists have won in America with Obama but failed miserably in Russia with Zyuganov who only received 17% of the vote. Vladimir Putin was re-elected as President keeping the NWO order out of Russia while America continues to repeat the Soviet mistake.

After Obama was elected in his first term as president the then Prime Minister of Russia, Vladimir Putin gave a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland in January of 2009. Ignored by the West as usual, Putin gave insightful and helpful advice to help the world economy and saying the world should avoid the Soviet mistake.

Recently, Obama has been re-elected for a 2nd term by an illiterate society and he is ready to continue his lies of less taxes while he raises them. He gives speeches of peace and love in the world while he promotes wars as he did in Egypt, Libya and Syria. He plans his next war is with Iran as he fires or demotes his generals who get in the way.

Well, any normal individual understands that as true but liberalism is a psychosis . O'bomber even keeps the war going along the Mexican border with projects like "fast and furious" and there is still no sign of ending it.  He is a Communist without question promoting the Communist Manifesto without calling it so. How shrewd he is in America. His cult of personality mesmerizes those who cannot go beyond their ignorance. They will continue to follow him like those fools who still praise Lenin and Stalin in Russia.  Obama's fools and Stalin's fools share the same drink of illusion.

Reading Putin's speech without knowing the author, one would think it was written by Reagan or another conservative in America. The speech promotes smaller government and less taxes. It comes as no surprise to those who know Putin as a conservative. Vladimir Putin went on to say:

"...we are reducing taxes on production, investing money in the economy. We are optimizing state expenses.

 The second possible mistake would be excessive interference into the economic life of the country and the absolute faith into the all-mightiness of the state.

There are no grounds to suggest that by putting the responsibility over to the state, one can achieve better results.

Unreasonable expansion of the budget deficit, accumulation of the national debt - are as destructive as an adventurous stock market game.

During the time of the Soviet Union the role of the state in economy was made absolute, which eventually lead to the total non-competitiveness of the economy. That lesson cost us very dearly. I am sure no one would want history to repeat itself."

President Vladimir Putin could never have imagined anyone so ignorant or so willing to destroy their people like Obama much less seeing millions vote for someone like Obama. They read history in America don't they? Alas, the schools in the U.S. were conquered by the Communists long ago and history was revised thus paving the way for their Communist presidents. Obama has bailed out those businesses that voted for him and increased the debt to over 16 trillion with an ever increasing unemployment rate especially among blacks and other minorities. All the while promoting his agenda.

"We must seek support in the moral values that have ensured the progress of our civilization. Honesty and hard work, responsibility and faith in our strength are bound to bring us success."- Vladimir Putin

The red, white and blue still flies happily but only in Russia. Russia still has St George defeating the Dragon with the symbol of the cross on its' flag. The ACLU and other atheist groups in America would never allow the US flag with such religious symbols. Lawsuits a plenty against religious freedom and expression in the land of the free. Christianity in the U.S. is under attack as it was during the early period of the Soviet Union when religious symbols were against the law.   

Let's give American voters the benefit of the doubt and say it was all voter fraud and not ignorance or stupidity in electing a man who does not even know what to do and refuses help from Russia when there was an oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Instead we'll say it's true that the Communists usage of electronic voting was just a plan to manipulate the vote. Soros and his ownership of the company that counts the US votes in Spain helped put their puppet in power in the White House. According to the Huffington Post, residents in all 50 states have filed petitions to secede from the Unites States. We'll say that these Americans are hostages to the Communists in power. How long will their government reign tyranny upon them?

Russia lost its' civil war with the Reds and millions suffered torture and death for almost 75 years under the tyranny of the United Soviet Socialist Republic. Russians survived with a new and stronger faith in God and ever growing Christian Church. The question is how long will the once "Land of the Free" remain the United Socialist States of America?  Their suffering has only begun. Bye bye Miss American Pie!  You know the song you hippies. Sing it! Don't you remember? The 1971 hit song by American song writer Don McLean:
