Dr. Phil McGraw has taken some time out of his busy schedule of interviewing viral internet caricatures to actually start acting like a legitimate doctor.

Dr. Phil hopped on “TMZ Live” Tuesday to say Kanye seems to be under several mental duress, given his recent conservative musings on Twitter. (RELATED: FEMINIST WEBSITE PUBLISHES ATTACK ON KANYE’S ‘TRASH POLITICS’)
“He shows, to me, a lack of impulse control. It shows what I would refer to as ‘disregulated thought,'” he says. Later, Dr. Phil says, “He doesn’t have a filter here. The things that he’s saying are irresponsible and ignorant.”
Dr. Phil also suggests that Kanye appears to be misinformed and uneducated.
Which is pretty wild. Kanye did recently admit to struggling with opiate abuse, but I never heard a professional practicing doctor say Kanye was sick. It’s pretty shocking that a licensed psychiatrist is diagnosing somebody spouting right-leaning views as unwell.
