The Electoral College: San Francisco's Guardian Angel

Republican radio commentator Rush Limbaugh reported last week that the Obama machine is spending $2.5 Million per month in political polling. Sounds like they're looking awfully hard for positive spin, as this election is going to be close thanks to the Republican nomination of Gov Romney.

In their Spineless attempt to defuse accusations of being extreme, hateful, out of touch right wingers the Republican establishment has chosen a candidate near indistinguishable in terms of policy from the current President.

And if the Democrats lose, you can count on Democrat operatives screaming, post election, for recounts everywhere as they've done in the past.

You can also count on a resounding hue and cry from those same operatives for the abolition of the Electoral College and the institution of a direct election of the President and Vice-President by John and Jane Q. Voter. This, as you'll see, is a false flag waved by useful idiots affording them the fiction of being for the 'Common People'.

For our readers outside the US, the popular vote is Not the determining finality. The Founding Dads feared that under that direct democracy the smaller states would be shut out of having their interests represented. Instead, the individual voters elect Electors who cast their deciding vote choosing the White House winners.

When the popular vote is tallied, State by State, the State's Electors then, usually cast All of their State's votes for one candidate or the other.

Here's the wiki:

Summary
Presidential electors are selected on a state-by-state basis, as determined by the laws of each state. Generally (with Maine and Nebraska being the exceptions), each state appoints its electors on a winner-take-all basis, based on the statewide popular vote on Election Day. Although ballots list the names of the presidential candidates, voters within the 50 states and Washington, D.C. actually choose electors for their state when they vote for President and Vice President. These presidential electors in turn cast electoral votes for those two offices. Even though the aggregate national popular vote is calculated by state officials and media organizations, the national popular vote is not the basis for electing a President or Vice President.
A candidate must receive an absolute majority of electoral votes (currently 270) to win the Presidency. If no candidate receives a majority in the election for President, or Vice President, that election is determined via a contingency procedure in the Twelfth Amendment, which is explained in detail below."

And we're Boring you with this WHY?

San Francisco

As we never tire of pointing out, the Founders continually prove themselves Wiser than the Inheritors of their legacy.

Wiki again:
"Modern mechanics
The constitutional theory behind the indirect election of both the President and Vice President of the United States is that while the Congress is popularly elected by the people,[30]the President and Vice President are elected to be executives of a federation of independent states.
In the Federalist No. 39James Madison argued that the Constitution was designed to be a mixture of state-based and population-based government. The Congress would have two houses: the state-based Senate and the population-based House of Representatives. Meanwhile, the President would be elected by a mixture of the two modes.[31]
Additionally, in the Federalist No. 10, James Madison argued against "an interested and overbearing majority" and the "mischiefs of faction" in an electoral system. He defined a faction as "a number of citizens whether amounting to a majority or minority of the whole, who are united and actuated by some common impulse of passion, or of interest, adverse to the rights of other citizens, or to the permanent and aggregate interests of the community." Republican government (i.e., federalism, as opposed to direct democracy), with its varied distribution of voter rights and powers, would countervail against factions. Madison further postulated in the Federalist No. 10 that the greater the population and expanse of the Republic, the more difficulty factions would face in organizing due to such issues as sectionalism.[32]"
You'll notice that the State's Electors pledge All of their votes, (with rare exceptions) as a State, for one candidate or the other. The State of California is widely perceived to be a solid, Unified, Democrat, Failure. This is false. Much of California outside of the major cities is Not enamored of the unending, socialist and special interest owned stupidity issuing from the State Capitol.

Without those 55 Electoral Votes belonging to California, the Democrat Party can Kiss Winning the White House Again, Good-Bye. And without Owning the Cities of San Francisco and Los Angeles, Those 55 Electoral Votes will no longer Be the Property of the Democrat Party. Good-Bye California. Good-Bye White House.

Now, does This explain Why San Francisco, UCSF, and their Dope Pushing Illuminati are still getting away with what they're getting away with? With a Democrat DOJ? If this SF/CBHS/UCSF/SFGH pantload of mystic disease/diversion mongering garbage were subjected to a Real DOJ Investigation, it would be Good-Bye to Democrats in the White House for Generations.
