Confirmed: 'Batman' Shooter James Holmes Was On Psychotropic Drugs

Newly released court documents confirm that ‘Batman’ shooter James Holmes was taking the anti-depressant drug Zoloft before he conducted his massacre in an Aurora theater last July, underscoring yet again the prevalent yet underreported connection between psychotropic drugs and mass shootings.
While it was known that prescription medication was seized during the search of Holmes’ property, the precise identity of the drug has remained unknown for nearly 9 months – until now.
During their execution of the search warrant on Holmes’ apartment, police, “found prescription medication for sertraline, a generic version of Zoloft used to treat depression, panic disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder; and Clonazepam, usually prescribed to treat anxiety and panic attacks,” reports the L.A. Times.
Zoloft is the same psychotropic drug that Columbine killer Eric Harris was taking before his rampage.
Clonazepam, also known under its brand name Klonopin, has been labeled “the world’s deadliest pill,” in that it “dramatically affects the functioning of the brain” and is highly addictive. Long term use of the drug has been linked with “violence and aggression”.
The connection between Zoloft and violent outbursts is well documented. Countless studies identify Zoloft as being responsible for more than 1,000 suicides and hundreds of episodes of mania and aggression.
While this represents yet another example of antidepressant drugs being linked to mass shootings, the mainstream media is loathe to make the connection, preferring instead to blame the Second Amendment in concert with the Obama administration’s gun control agenda.
“How long do we have to wait until there is a thorough investigation into the dangers these drugs pose to society? It’s far easier to blame video games and use the tragedies to target innocent gun owners. Big Pharma and their bought and paid for stooges in government must be stopped,” writes Lew Rockwell.
As CCHR documents, psychiatric drugs have been involved in at least 31 different school shootings and other massacres over the last 25 years.
It has not yet been revealed whether or not Sandy Hook killer Adam Lanza was also on psychotropic drugs, although Louise Tambascio, a family friend of the shooter and his mother, told 60 Minutes, “I know he was on medication and everything….I knew he was on medication, but that’s all I know.”
The recently revealed search warrant for Lanza’s home reveals that books on autism and Asperger syndrome were found. The symptoms of Asperger’s are commonly treated with psychotropic drugs linked with violent outbursts, although no specific mention of any medication Lanza was taking has been made.

Thank You Infowars and Mr. Watson

But nobody peddling these drugs knows about this 'side effect' huh?

State Police Registration for being poisoned with Risperdal in California is just one of those unsolved mysteries the 'Mental Health' crackpots need more time and more of everyone else's money to 'Research', Right?

Because they don't know Why their victims need to be State Police Registered, Right? And it's not Their Fault, Right?

Dr. F. Baughman To Military: Embargo ALL Antipsychotics & Antidepressants

PR News Wire has:

Fred A. Baughman Jr., MD Announces: Vets' Sudden Cardiac Deaths Are Not Suicides or Overdoses

EL CAJON, Calif., May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Fred A. Baughman Jr., MD today announced the results of his research into the "series" of veterans' deaths acknowledged by the Surgeon General of the Army.

Upon reading the May 24, 2008, Charleston (WV) Gazette article "Vets taking Post Traumatic Stress Disorder drugs die in sleep," Baughman began to investigate why these reported deaths were "different." And, why they were likely, the "tip of an iceberg."

Andrew White, Eric Layne, Nicholas Endicott and Derek Johnson were four West Virginia veterans who died in their sleep in early 2008. Baughman's research suggests that they did not commit suicide and did not overdose as suggested by the military. All were diagnosed with PTSD. All seemed "normal" when they went to bed. And, all were on Klonopin (a benzodiazepine), Paxil (an SSRI antidepressant) and Seroquel (an antipsychotic).

On January 15, 2009, the New England Journal of Medicine (Ray et al), reported that antipsychotics double the risk of sudden cardiac death.

On February 7, 2008, Surgeon General Eric B. Schoomaker, said there has been "a series of deaths in Warrior Training Units" -- "often as a consequence of the use of multiple prescription and nonprescription medicines and alcohol ... we all saw the unfortunate death of Heath Ledger, the 'Brokeback Mountain' star, who died from an accidental overdose."

But Ledger was not on any heart-toxic medication. When found, his pulse and respirations were intact! When found, none of the veterans were breathing or had pulse. There's, most likely, were sudden cardiac deaths!

Sudden cardiac death is an unexpected death due to cardiac causes occurring in a short time period (generally within 1 h of symptom onset) in a person with known or unknown cardiac disease in whom no previously diagnosed fatal condition is apparent. (Medscape e-Medicine 7/17/06)

As of April 16, 2009, veteran's wife, Diane Vande Burgt, had Googled 19 "dead in bed," 36 "dead in barracks," or "... room," and 19 "under investigation." Removing reported "suicides" shortened our original list by 15 names leaving a total of 74 probable sudden cardiac deaths - most in soldiers or veterans in their 20's. An article from the AP, San Antonio, 4/17/09, reported "The deaths of two soldiers are being investigated ... both men apparently died in their sleep."

It was reported in June, 2008, that 89% of veterans with PTSD are given antidepressants and 34% antipsychotics (Mohamed & Rosenheck, June 2008). A third, then, are exposed to the additive potential of both to cause sudden cardiac death. (Sicouri & Antzelevitch, 2008)

On April 13, 2009, Baughman wrote the Office of the Surgeon General of the Army: "the Surgeon General said there has been 'a series, a sequence of deaths' Has the study of these deaths been published?

On April 17, 2009, the response came: "The assessment is still pending and has not been released yet."

There being no such thing as an essential psychiatric drug, I call upon the military for an immediate embargo of all antipsychotics and antidepressants until there has been a complete, wholly public, clarification of the extent and causes of this epidemic of probable sudden cardiac deaths.

PTSD Meds Killing Soldiers After The Battle

GI Rights News Blog has:

PTSD Meds Killing Soldiers After The Battle
"CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Stan and Shirley White's son Andrew, a Marine reservist, died at home 2 1/2 years after he returned from Iraq.

Janette Layne lost her husband, Eric, in similar circumstances after his return from Iraq.

More than a year later, they still don't know if the medication their loved ones were taking for post-traumatic stress disorder contributed to their deaths.

Andrew White and Eric Layne were taking Seroquel, Klonopin and Paxil, along with prescription painkillers.

Three other West Virginia servicemen have died in their sleep while undergoing PTSD treatment after returning from Iraq. ........

..... Stan White and (Dr. Fred) Baughman track soldiers and veterans who die in their sleep or slumped at work stations. They contact the families when they hear about such deaths to ask about psychiatric diagnoses and medications. Military casualty officers won't release details.

They found three others from West Virginia. Jeremy Harper, 19, of Dunbar died Jan. 1, 2005, at Walter Reed Army Medical Center while being treated for PTSD. Nicholas Endicott of Logan County, who died at a military hospital in Bethesda, Md., also suffered from PTSD. Derek Johnson, 22, of Hurricane died last year while taking the three drugs.

Baughman notes Seroquel's link to fatal heart arrhythmias and irregularities. He's now researching the death of Chad Oligschlaeger, 21, a Texas Marine who died in May while taking six medications for PTSD, including Seroquel.

"I'm telling you right now, these drugs are unfit for human consumption, across the board," Baughman said. "Their side effects take two to three pages to list." .......

Would these 5 Servicemen be better off today still having their Stress, and sorting it out with friends, family and on their own, ....... or being 'Treated' for it, ...... by Ideates?

We've posted on this ongoing tragedy already. We Don't want to have to post on it again. But we are Going to, because with Govt Increasing the Funding for 'Mental Health' at Tax payer expense, ...... this IS going to keep happening in ever increasing numbers.

Our Servicemen and Servicewomen are not numbers, and they are Not disposables for Tax Funded, Change Agent, Behavioral $cientists to experiment on.

Cut the GD Funding Off, All of it. Now.
