Pharma In French Court: Manslaughter

Reuters brings us news that Sanofi Pasteur MSD, a joint venture of Merck and Sanofi-Aventis, are going to be explaining themselves to French Judge Marie-Odile Bertella-Geffroy regarding an anti-hepatitus B vaccine which Sanofi Pasteur produced.

Judge Bertella-Geffroy is not just looking for money. She's looking for Manslaughter.

Sanofi Pasteur stands accused of failing to disclose serious side effects of their product which led to Deaths.

The families of 30 plaintiffs [and the families of 5 of those 30 who DIED] after taking Sanofi Pasteur's vaccine have filed a civil suit against the drug co.

Manslaughter, huh? Not just defrauding the French tax payer, and France's insurance carriers, but Manslaughter; as a result of, again, covering up and misrepresenting the safety of Pharmaceutical products.

Like the patent, barn full of BS on a hot summer day America has been getting on the newer, safer, atypical antipsychotics 'lower incidence' of tardive dyskinisia, akathisia, diabetes, and another 20 whole 20 mule team wagon loads of life and health wrecking horrors: the same Antipsychotics which are ON the FDA Record, as causing suicides and murders.

It seems the French Do have something to teach us, certainly on This issue.

"Book 'em, Dano."

Byron Richards from CCN brings us more.

Wiki France offers us a page on a Judge Bertella-Geffroy.

[Sorry, Star Fleet's Universal Translator seems to be on the fritz. Mr. Scott is hard at work on it. Till then, enjoy LeMonde in French.] [And now Scotty has informed us that even the original (without a subscription) has somehow escaped from Engineering under its own power.]
