Sebelius Cites "Scheduling Conflict" Won't Testify Before House Committee Before Next Week

How convenient.

Update to this story.
Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius could testify before a House committee as early as next week on problems with Obamacare, but top Republicans continued to push for her to answer questions at a hearing Thursday.
A spokeswoman for Mrs. Sebelius said she has a scheduling conflict this week but will work with the House Energy and Commerce Committee to find a date for her to testify “in the near future.”
Brendan Buck, a spokesman for Speaker John A. Boehner, Ohio Republican, said the delay is “unacceptable.” Mr. Boehner said lawmakers need Mrs. Sebelius to address questions this week about the troubles with the HealthCare.gov web site. [...]
Mrs. Sebelius is scheduled to speak at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library in Boston Wednesday night on the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Community Mental Health Act. She’s also scheduled to attend an event in Phoenix on Thursday.
