One would hope that with the astronomical COSTS of patronizing a Hospital, they could at least clean the HIV off the surgical tools correctly.

And one would be wrong.

Take your child in to have their appendix removed and pray they don't later develop Hepatitis and/or AIDS.

Seattle Children's Hospital is notifying 12,000 families after learning that some surgical equipment at the Bellevue Clinic and Surgery Center was incorrectly sterilized, CBS News reports. In a statement to CBS News, the hospital said it recently discovered that required procedures for cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments at the facilities were not always followed. "As a result, some patients who had a surgical procedure at Bellevue Clinic may need to be tested for hepatitis B and C, as well as HIV," the statement said.
