The House of Representatives overwhelmingly rejected Texas Democratic Rep. Al Green’s bill to impeach President Donald Trump Wednesday on the House floor.
Green and five other House Democrats, introduced articles of impeachment against the president in November and listed a number of reasons they believe Trump should be impeached. He mentioned obstruction of justice, a violation of the Constitution’s foreign emoluments clause, a violation of the Constitution’s domestic emoluments clause, undermining the federal judiciary process and undermining the press.
As the bill was brought to the floor, Republicans called for a vote for the bill to be set aside. The vote to table the impeachment legislation was decided in a sweeping 364-58 vote.
Before the vote, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Minority Whip Steny Hoyer told their Democratic colleagues in the House to stop pushing articles of impeachment against Trump. (RELATED: Pelosi: ‘Now Is Not The Time To Consider Articles Of Impeachment)
“[Trump is] unmindful of the high duties of his high office,” Green said on the House floor Wednesday before the vote. “He has brought disrepute, contempt and ridicule on the presidency… He has harmed American society by publicly casting contempt on individuals and groups.”
It is unclear weather or not Green will continue to call for Trump’s impeachment after Wednesday’s vote.

Thank You Mr Rodgers and the DC.
Something tells us this won't be the end of it.
It's all the left has remaining, after the Trump/Putin Bromance blew up on them and blew back right in their faces, and now this recent unhinged fantasy, assault journalism aimed at destroying Senatorial candidate Roy Moore caught so many Dems themselves in their own sexual harassment mine field.
Say what you will about the Democrats.
They are persistent even when it comes to clinging to a deck chair tossed to them off the fantail of the Titanic.
