Mental Health: Abasia: Crutches & Wheelchairs Anyone?

All 23 of the Psychiatric Poisons in our FDA Adverse Reaction section feature Abasia as an FDA reported Adverse Reaction with each Drug Individually identified as 'The Primary Suspect Drug' responsible for that Adverse Reaction.

Wiki has:

Abasia

Abasia (from Greek: a-, without and basis, step) is the inability to walk due to impaired muscle coordination. The term covers a spectrum of medical disorders such as:

  • choreic abasia: caused by chorea of the legs
  • paralytic abasia: caused by paralysis of the leg muscles
  • spastic abasia: caused by spastic stiffening of the leg muscles
  • trembling abasia: caused by trembling of the legs

Abasia is frequently accompanied by astasis, an inability to stand, see Astasia-abasia

That's NOT just the Antipsychotics; it's the Antidepressants too, ..... ALL of them.

interesting...you know I can still walk, but not all the time...and often not very well.

I'm off almost everything...it seems to be a detox reaction, but muscle issues are definitely part of it.

I have to research this...thanks...

Oh Sweet Ever Lovin' (deleted)

Susan said Haldol was a personal Vendetta for her, because it took her 3 to 4 months to learn to use her arms and legs again.

well...I really don't know what is up with me...I'm going in for testing and I know my liver is messed up...albumin too low...but don't know why yet...

this is all a result of the detox though...that's what is weird..I don't have mental health issues coming off but serious physical problems...problems I didn't have when I was on all the drugs!

that is why detoxing and withdrawing has to be studied..I know lots of other people like me, but the docs deny we exist.

you know you changed something here so I can't request email notification when a comment is posted?

did you do that on purpose?

It appears that Adjusting a non-existent Chemical Imbalance in people's Command Central Super Computer forces that Bio-Computer to self regulate by shutting Down the Pharmaceutically induced superfluity of Serotonin, etc.

And then upon discontinuance; the brain is Still in "Block the Excess" mode with some receptors actually fried. It takes time to regenerate or redirect around those damaged receptors:

Hence, the physical problems when you dry out which you Didn't have when the Drugs were In you and the tug of war between the Created Imbalance and your receptors stood at impasse.

Now the comments follow-up is probably Blogger itself, upgrading, fine tuning or whatever, 'cause it's not us and the box appears on Our page

Went to the comments edit section to look around, and there's nothing there either. Dunno what happened, but it wasn't intentional.

Mind Freedom has a short entry on the Bio Mechanics of why people do poorly when detoxing.
