President Trump announced another new member of his administration on
Monday evening. Ajit Pai will be the new chairman of the Federal
Communications Commission. As a member of the FCC, Pai strongly
opposed net neutrality. Many conservative fans on Twitter heralded the
new appointment as a win for freedom.
"I am deeply grateful to the President of the United States for designating me the 34th Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission," Pai said in a statement. "I look forward to working with the new Administration, my colleagues at the Commission, members of Congress, and the American public to bring the benefits of the digital age to all Americans."Change is here! @AjitPaiFCC firing up his regulatory weed whacker==> https://t.co/9hm5MOgAoN— Michelle Malkin (@michellemalkin) January 24, 2017
