Ca Nursing Home Director Gets 3 Years: Inappropriate Psychiatric Drugs

Mad In America has;

The former director of a California nursing home was sentenced to 3 years in prison for inappropriate medication of 23 individuals. All of the individuals suffered negative health consequences, and the medication was implicated in three deaths. “If the resident did not want to go to the dining room then an antipsychotic drug would be started … none of the resident’s family members were notified…” said the facility’s master of social work. The facility’s former medical director and the director’s supervisor were both sentenced to 300 hours of community service.

Our Elderly sign over their Homes, which they broke their asses paying off the mortgage on, for 30-40 years, to pay for 'Care-Giving' in nursing homes.

3 Deaths divided by 3 Years is, . . . ?

  1. I don't cry any tears for the elderly who are "given" antipsychotics to calm down . I was given massive amounts of antipsychotics in my 20's for my health. When they have to take it , its bad, RIGHT...
