Eeks!
Via NY Post:
A worker at a Canadian pharmacy accidentally gave out out bipolar medication to trick-or-treaters instead of candy, according to a report. The mix-up unfolded after a woman unknowingly dropped her 17-year-old son’s prescription drugs while on her way out of a Beauport pharmacy.Another customer picked up the medication — Quetiapine and Divalproex sodium, both of which are used to treat schizophrenia as well as other psychological disorders — and placed it dangerously close to the candy basket on the counter.“So – unfortunately – we don’t know how – an employee just mixed it with the candy by accident and distributed it to the kids,” a Quebec City police spokesperson told the Daily Star.Seven individually wrapped pills were dropped into candy baskets throughout the night.Police assured parents that the medications were not dangerous — despite side effects that include suicidal thoughts, tremors and nausea.
Thank You Nick and NY Post.
Why is it perfectly OK - it must be because the populace has Yet to get up on its heels and Stop them - when the Govt. poisons children with this filth, but it upsets us when the private sector does it, by accident (?)
Isn't this garbage supposed to make children 'mentally healthy'?
And don't we want children to be 'mentally healthy'?
The story says Seroquel/Quetiapine was given to the children.
That would be This stuff,
So again, Why are we not infuriated at children being hosed with this stuff when it's done by a Pharma grant funded University grad with a Govt Issued Work License certifying that they're an expert at peddling this stuff, but we're aghast at a Pharmacy, (just another link in the supply chain) handing it out with the Halloween Sugar?
Police assured parents that the medications were not dangerous — despite side effects that include suicidal thoughts, tremors and nausea.
Suicidal thoughts don't qualify as dangerous?
Does it give you pause to know that the police know this stuff causes suicidal thoughts, and real suicides?
It ought to. Because we pay the police to uphold the law. We don't pay them to turn a blind eye to it.
