FBI: NO AR-15 Was Used In Naval Yard Shooting

Via CNN’s Pamela Brown:

Piers Morgan hardest hit.

Thank You Ms Brown, CNN, Zip, and of course, Mr Morgan for being the dissembling, Agenda driven disinformation monger you are.

Now, We can thank WHO for those 13 dead?

weaselzippers;

More people were wounded and died at Fort Hood because of this rule. That is the simple, sad fact.
We have yet to learn all the facts of the Navy Yard case yet. But it is clear that for many minutes after the shooter started, he was still free to shoot.
How logical is it, in these days of increasing al Qaeda threat, to leave our military unarmed and unable to respond?
Via PJ Media:
After Nidal Hasan killed 13 and wounded more than 30 in November 2009, John R. Lott wrote about one of the craziest policies to come out of the Clinton era: making military bases “gun free zones.”
Yes, that’s correct. In 1993, President Bill Clinton decreed that US military personnel were to surrender the Second Amendment rights that they swear an oath to support and defend. Lott, writing in 2009, called for that policy to be ended.
Shouldn’t an army base be the last place where a terrorist should be able to shoot at people uninterrupted for 10 minutes? After all, an army base is filled with soldiers who carry guns, right? Unfortunately, that is not the case. Beginning in March 1993, under the Clinton administration, the army forbids military personnel from carrying their own personal firearms and mandates that “a credible and specific threat against [Department of the Army] personnel [exist] in that region” before military personnel “may be authorized to carry firearms for personal protection.” Indeed, most military bases have relatively few military police as they are in heavy demand to serve in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Thank you PJ Media and Zip.

FBI Confirms: Naval Yard Shooter Used A Shotgun: Not An AR-15

But… but… but… the AR-15 is being used to “hunt human beings!”…
Via Mediaite:
“At this time, we believe that Mr. Alexis entered Building 197 at the Navy Yard with a shotgun. We do not have any information, at this time, that he had an AR-15 in his possession. We also believe that Mr. Alexis may have gained access to a handgun once inside the facility and after he began shooting. Mr. Alexis had legitimate access to the Navy Yard as a result of his work as a contractor; and he utilized a valid pass to gain entry to the building.”
CNN Invents Non-Existent "Legally Purchased AR-15 Shotgun"

CCN Low-Info News: Alexis Had "Legally Purchased AR-15 Shotgun"

CNN not only made this stunning claim in a repetitive chyron but also in stories on their sites as well.
Not only was there absolutely no evidence that Aaron Alexis had in fact purchased an AR-15, but, of course, AR-15 isn’t a shotgun.
How can these people claim to be a news organization and not have one person even pick up on that?

Here it is up on their website on their liveblog.
CNN still has this claim up on their website, despite the fact that it has now been revealed that there was no AR-15 of any kind, although they have since removed the “shotgun” part of it:
Notice how it says he used a “legally purchased AR-15 gun”. It doesn’t however actually say that he purchased it. Of course, if he stole it from someone who legally purchased it, then yes, he “used a legally purchased” one. Of course, the language is deceptive leading an unknowing reader to the wrong conclusion.

Thank You Zip.

Ooops, Wait just a minute. It appears that there actually Was a real AR-15 used at the Naval Yard Massacre.

weaselzippers;
Police Used AR-15 To Kill Navy Yard Gunman . . .

I’m guessing Piers Morgan is bashing his head off his desk right about now.
Via NY Times:
. . . On Monday, Mr. Alexis entered the navy yard, a secure military facility near the Capitol, killing at least 12 people before he was fatally shot by the authorities. The police say Mr. Alexis, 34, acted alone. On Tuesday, the authorities said it had taken only two minutes for officers armed with AR-15s to arrive at the navy yard once they received the first of many 911 emergency calls, but that some officers had mistakenly gone to other buildings inside the property because callers had given various locations for the gunman.
Chief Cathy Lanier of the Washington Police said that law enforcement officers from various agencies exchanged fire with Mr. Alexis. She said the shooting lasted more than 30 minutes.
The authorities said that while they originally believed that Mr. Alexis had been armed with an AR-15, they now believed he entered the navy yard with only a shotgun and may have obtained a pistol once inside. The shotgun had been bought legally in Virginia, said Valerie Parlave, assistant director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Washington office.

Washington Naval Yard Shooter Stole Two Of The Guns He Used From Victims During The Attack On Base

I’m guessing the gun-grabbers won’t be happy when they hear the news.
Via NBC News:
. . . When it was over, the suspected gunman lay dead amid an armload of weapons. Sources told News4 that surveillance footage showed that he began his attack with a shotgun, but was found with a 9mm pistol and an AR-15 assault rifle.
NBC News correspondent Pete Williams is reporting Alexis purchased a shotgun in Lorton, Va. during the past week or so.
The suspected gunman appeared to have seized firearms from two of his victims as he moved through the building along the Anacostia River in southeast Washington, where 3,000 Navy employees go to work each day, many of them carrying authorized firearms.

Thank You NBC and Zip.

So where does the fault lie?

Inanimate objects? Mental Illness?

Agenda driven Screwballs?

Psychiatry itself? (Yes, there's a Psych angle here.)
